LA-74-07-1 — State of the Art of Laundry Water Heating
This report confines itself to the larger type laundries where steam is generally the heat source. These include commercial family laundries, linen supply houses, industrial launderers, institutional laundries and textile mills. Common operating practices tend to minimize the non-productive portion of the time schedule; therefore the machine manufacturers offer fast “load and unload” options that allow thirty seconds or less to fill the machine with hot water at their advertised production rate.
