DA-76-15-2 — Relationship Between Heat Source Temperature, Heat Sink Temperature and Coefficient of Performance for Solar-Powered Absorption Air Conditioners
Although using solar energy for air conditioning is highly desirable in that it conserves non-renewable energy sources and utilizes the solar energy collector more effectively, there are problems unique to the application of solar energy to the absorption refrigeration machine that must be considered. In addition to practical problems such as the need for storage to take care of nights and cloudy days and the cost of absorption refrigerating equipment, etc., there are some technical problems stemming from the utilization of lowt-emperature heat.
Specifically, we will be dealing with the relationship between the heat source temperature, the heat sink temperature and the coefficient of performance (COP).
