Three projects are presented that have created personalized environments to improve the comfort of the building users while saving energy. The first two projects introduced architectural and facility technologies to encourage creativity among users by establishing comfortable environments through personalizing thermal and light environments. Selecting working environments within the building based on preferences can also promote communication, increase satisfaction and streamline work. The third project, a large shopping center, has achieved more than 20% energy savings compared to conventional systems by forecasting the human traffic, analyzing clothing insulation and customer interaction from monitoring cameras utilizing the latest AI technology.
